Today was our little boy's two year old birthday. Here are some pictures of his big day!
"A bike!" Was what this little fella exclaimed this when he saw this trike of a present this morning. "A bike, a bike, a bike" is what we heard all morning as he examined, climbed on, pushed and rode his new set of three wheels. "He doesn't like this present at all," Jess and I joked as we saw his excitement over his new gift.
With those new wheels we headed to the park. He sure loves playing chase games in the 'tunnels' they have there.
We went to watch his very first theater movie...Cars 2 at the dollar theater with some of his neighborhood buddies.
Afterwards we went to get some grub and sing birthday wishes. This picture shows him very pleased after blowing out his candles.
Then to grandma and grandpas house to receive more birthday wishes with his uncle who's birthday is the day before his.
All that made for a napless day...but sure enough on the way home from all that excitement, this little birthday dude was due for some serious zzz's. So tired, his sleep remained uninterrupted as daddy tucked him in bed.
This two year old tot sure has me smilin'. What a sweet age he is at, wish I could bottle him up and keep him that way forever. He definitely is the biggest source of entertainment at our home. So full of sillinesses and laughs and words and darts across the rooms, and galloping shoulder dancing, and twinkle star singing, and point out every color he sees, and sneakiness and ...some fits and toddler-man messes but erupting with so much love and so much JOY to all who meet him. Ahh, my sweet little angel dude, I just love you :D
