Hyrum is the cutest little guy ever. Lately he's much happier when he wakes up from a nap. Even if he's a little fussy he starts cooing and smiling when he sees one of us come in to get him. It's really cute and heart melting. He can get us to do anything with those smiles.
We finally bought a bathroom scale so we can both work off the pregnancy weight (Sariah is pretty much there but Jess has a way to go yet). We went to Bed Bath and Beyond and look at the scales on display. We look at several factors: aesthetics, size, price, function, class, but the factor that probably had the most sway was how much we weighed on it. We would look at two scales that were comparable on most fronts then step on them and say, "this one says I'm two more pounds than the others. It's definitely out." Of course we repeated the measurements to rule out statistic variability. In the end, all that time spent looking at the scales at BB and B and mental effort in trying to make a good scale decision was futile since we found a scale at WalMart that we like better. After all that, when we took it home we realized we didn't even have room for it because of our Jack and Jill doors (two doors in a small space) in our bathroom. So much for that. Cool story?
