Denied.

I heard Hyrum says Uh-oh (his newly found word) over and over again in the kitchen, so of course I had to grab my camera but once it was rolling, I was denied with a several shakes of the head from a completely disapproving little man.
Where did he learn to shake his head so much l like that? I wondered that myself.  I realized that my attempts to teach him without using so many "negatives" like 'NO, DON'T do that' and instead using phrase like 'stay away from that  please' so he wouldn't go through a "NO!" phase as many kids, was in the end futile because very apparently with all my seemingly 'positive' phrase a shake of my head also accompanied it. Brilliant.
