Christmasy

Wanted to post about our Christmas, finally.  Here are some pics that tell our Christmas Story this year.

I'd like to announce that I actually put some effort into decorating this year and was pleased that it happened.  Davis County kicked off December with a destructive wind storm that left us without power for almost two days and litered our city with branches and pine boughs... which happened to served so lovelily as Christmas decor.  The rest of the stuff I had, made or found at the D.I.

It was a simple way to welcome the Christmas Spirit.  

Hyrum was more of a participant this year. He helped to put the Christmas ornaments up..

Was way into the that Tate family Christmas party.

Got to meet Santa on a couple occasions. Made sure it was a good workout for Santa.

Of course, he was much better at the art of opening gifts this year and displaying the sheer excitement parents can't wait to see on Christmas morning.

He got some of those little hotwheel Cars Movie cars, one of his favorite gifts, he takes them everywhere.

Enjoyed visiting his relatives all Christmas day..

Stopped at Great Grandma Tate and enjoyed her delish peaches.

Overall, it was a groovy Christmas filled with family and good memories.
